Scouts meet a deaf pro baseball player

Scout Tours: Boy Scouts meet  Luther "Dummy" Taylor

He played for the New York Giants in the early 1900's

Come to the Deaf Cultural Center to participate in an American Sign Language experience. Learn about a different way to "hear". Deaf staff will present an interactive "Hands-On" workshop. For $5 each, scouts can experience a mini-sign language class, deaf story telling and deaf art. They will be taught to say the scout promise in sign language.  Patches for scouts are available in our gift shop for $2.  Call or email to schedule this unforgettable experience.
