ASL Hand Signs

The Deaf Cultural Center offers classes in American Sign Language (ASL) throughout the year.

New sessions begin each September, October, January and March. The basics of ASL are taught by certified instructors from the Kansas School for the Deaf.  The sessions are 2 nights a week  and offer a progressive knowledge of the language and culture of the Deaf community. June sessions will be posted.

In addition, students are encouraged to visit the William J. Marra Museum of Deaf History and Deaf Culture loacted across the street from the Kansas School for the Deaf.
