“I just wanted you to know that our sign language club absolutely loved their experience at the Deaf Culture Center.  Everyone at the culture center was so friendly and patient with the kids.  When I asked the students what their favorite part was, the majority absolutely loved the story teller and her expressiveness while signing The Little Red Hen.

I believe my students walked away with a greater understanding that Deaf people are not so different from Hearing people.  They also have a greater understanding of the experiences Deaf people have had throughout the centuries.  Many felt the video made a big impact.

Thank you once again for a very positive experience.  Our club plans to come back next year!”  Middle School Counselor

“Thank you so very much for the experience! The girls’ learned soo much and will forever remember this. My daughter is still talking about what she learned and has asked to take her alphabet pocket card to school. She wants to make sure each child can spell their name correctly. :)” Girl Scout Leader

“Thank you so much for the tour on Saturday.  I wish we had more girls able to attend.  That was one of the most incredible experiences I have ever had.  I asked my daughter if it was in her top 5 or top 10 field trips and she quickly responded “It was in my top 2″.  I asked her what her #1 was and she replied horseback riding–it is hard to compete with that!!!!!”  Girl Scout leader
